Help with Christmas Dinner for my wife and kids

Hello all I'm new to this site I seen this site when my wife asked for Birthday help for our son. I was needing to see if there are any heros out there that can help me with a couple walmart gift cards to get stuff to cook my wife and kids Christmas dinner. We were going to go to my wifes moms for dinner but they are sick so there will be no dinner there and we don't have anything that we can cook for Christmas. My wife said shes not worried about it that it will be ok. So I wanted to give her a gift by making Christmas dinner for her and the kids and get her a gift for under the tree. If you can help please send me a message so I can give you our address. Thank you

Taylor, Michigan FREE Christmas Dinner

“True Meaning of Christmas” – the ninth annual free Christmas dinner

When: Noon to 3 p.m. December 25

Where: William Ford Senior Activity Center, 6750 Troy Street, just west of Telegraph Road and north of Ecorse Road.

What: A group of volunteers serve free Christmas dinner to anyone, whether alone, less fortunate or hungry – and their guests. This year, the meal will include turkey, ham, white and sweet potatoes, gravy, corn, salad, beverages, desserts and all the trimmings. The dinner is organized by the Domski family, which years ago chose to end its annual gift exchange and put the money toward a meal for anyone to enjoy. In addition, the Taylor Police Department has donated dozens of turkeys and hams. Last year’s Christmas meal drew an estimated 200 diners and plenty of volunteers.

Those who cannot arrange transportation to the Ford Center can call for a free ride in advance or on the day of the event. The telephone number is (313) 291-7740.

No Christmas for the 4 children unless a miracle happens etc

hello I thought I finally found a place that we could get some christmas help and then I seen it may be only for lancaster posted. And I have never asked for help for my family as I do not know what else to do and there are 8 of it consists of my 80 yr old elderly mom my 2 daughters ages 23 and 26 my 23 year old daughter is the mother of 1 beautiful 3 yr old. My daughter and I are both disabled. my daughter has not been able to walk in 8 weeks yesterday or move her leg due to venous malformations and when she cannot walk she lives in excruciating pain when her leg "acts up" no dr can help her only with the pain we get turned away all the time.We went to the cleaveland clinic in june on bald tires just praying someone could help her and that was a wasted trip once again.
My other daughter is the mother of 3 beautiful boys ages 8 and 5 and 2. my daughter (mom of the boys) lost her job 2 weeks ago and she has been out there as much as possible with the gas situation trying to get a job. Christmas looks pretty bad for my grand children. we are a month late on the rent and and electric dissconnect and phone disconnect. Car insurance is due to be terminated on 12/26/2006 perfect timinh huh?
Every bit of my story I am telling you is the absolute truth and can be checked out.
we live aprox 40 miles from buffalo in Delevan ny If you know of any help to make this a actual christmas please contact me. I am so sick of dead ends of everywhere I call being told no help. we live on a fixed income of SSI which does not go far and now with my daughter looking for a job. my mom is in the rehab part of the nurseing home in springville trying to get stronger after being abused in the waters of salamanca ny someone kicked her repeatadly in her right leg from her knee all the way to her foot and it was not black and blue she was total black bruises. that is sad someone a health care proffesional an do that to a defenseless elderly woman and now because of the contusions she has 3 blood clots and suffered a heart attack.
I do not see how our situation can get any worse if there is a way it will. that is just how it is. we don't even have dinner for Xmas. Thank you for taking the time to read this.my name is Mary computermom3@adelphia.net
